Welcome to Acorn Cottage

Acorn Cottage Bed and Breakfast  is a picturesque  former farmhouse set within half an acre of beautiful gardens.  Situated in Devon, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, and close to the Cornish border.

The cottage is just a 5 minute drive from the ancient stannary town of Tavistock (voted Best Market Town in 2005) which provides excellent  shops, pubs/restaurants and many other interesting activities.   An ideal base for exploring the south west with easy access to Dartmoor and the outstanding peninsula coastline. We are also located just off  the Devon Coast to Coast (Route 27), part of the national cycle network.

A warm and friendly welcome from owners Jane and Tony Weller awaits you when you arrive at Acorn Cottage. We offer 3 comfortable en-suite  rooms, two double and one twin. Facilities include; Private off-road parking, access to the gardens, colour T.V's, hairdryers,  tea/coffee/hot chocolate in all rooms, secure storage for cycles, bike/boot washing facilities and a good local knowledge of the area for all requirements. We operate in a relaxed, non-smoking, family friendly environment. Dogs also welcome with prior arrangement. Breakfasts are made to order using fresh local produce.
